Founded Benjamin Lewis in 1945 BJS is today run by his grandson, Richard Lewis.

BJS was recognised by HM Queen Elizabeth II in 1992, in the granting of a unique Royal Warrant for its services as Electroformers,  Electroplaters and Silversmiths.

The company moved in 1994 from Central London to larger, purpose built premises in Perivale, West London.

The company still remains fiercely loyal to its founder’s original concept of blending ultimate craftsmanship and quality with technology and in 1995 achieved ISO9001, the international quality assurance standard.

Today, whilst all work is computer tracked, monitored and controlled, at every stage of manufacture and finishing, it still takes a skilled craftsman’s eye to tell when an item has achieved the very highest quality possible and is ready to be passed to the client.

And through continuous investment in Research and Development of both processes and systems management, BJS is today regarded as the leading precious metal electroforming and electroplating company in Europe.
